Karen Nielsen is a native Texan from the Houston area. She attended Texas A&M University and studied Civil Engineering. She has been in banking for more years than she’ll admit, the last 30 at Amegy Bank, a division of ZB, N.A., where she serves as an Executive Vice President. Karen manages the Enterprise Commercial Product Management team, delivering commercial product and payment solutions for Zions Bancorporation. She is passionate about treasury and payment innovation and has spoken at national, state, and local payment and treasury management conferences. She has also been an instructor for the AFP Essentials of Treasury Management course offered through the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies at Rice University. Karen has 5 children, two step-kids and an assorted menagerie at home. She enjoys travel and antiquing.
