John T. Sciano, CTP, CSPO is Vice President & Team Leader for the Checks & Cash product team within KeyBank’s Commercial Bank. He is a 20 plus year veteran of KeyBank and a seasoned Financial Services industry professional.
John currently manages the product team responsible for Lockbox, E-Lockbox, Integrated Receivables, Cash Vault Services, Remote Deposit Capture, Image Cash Letter, Commercial Deposits, Paper Checks and Check Outsourcing.
John has managed a number of Payments services during his tenure with Key, including Transmissions, Information Reporting, BAI, EDI, SWIFT Reporting, Alerts, Account Recon, Consolidated Payables, Controlled Disbursement, Drafts, Imaging, and Positive Pay.
John also has client sales and servicing experience, spending 6 years as a Payments Advisor, selling, and supporting Payments services to a variety of KeyBank corporate clients.
John began his banking career in 1992 with Bank One (now J.P. Morgan Chase) where he successfully completed their Retail Banking management training program for placement as a Branch Managing Officer.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Akron’s School of Business. He attained his Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation in January 2008 and his Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designation in December 2019.
